It is a statutory body under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Foundation has a Board of Governors consisting of Honorable Members of Parliament, eminent educationists, Islamic scholars and highest administrative officials for determining the overall policy, providing directions, taking activities, supervision and monitoring. The honorable minister in charge of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is the chairman of the board and the honorable director general of the Islamic Foundation is the member secretary of the board.
